When visiting a school please make sure that you call ahead and set up an appointment with who you want to meet with. All visitors are required to have proper ID. It is used in the RAPTOR system. All visitors must have a visitor pass to enter the school area.

To be a volunteer with the ECASD you will need to obtain three clearances-state police, child abuse and FBI. As per state law clearances will expire every 60 months. Once you have obtained all three clearances please submit a copy to your child’s school. You will not be permitted to volunteer until all three clearances have been submitted. If you are a volunteer coach please refer to the athletics tab for a volunteer coach packet.

State Police(free for volunteers) please print the VERIFICATION epatch.state.pa.us
Child Abuse (free for volunteers) results will be available to print in 1-14 days from date of submission https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis
FBI ($27.00) register online, choose PA Department of Education, print two copies of your receipt, take one with you to be fingerprinted (locations can be found on website, appointment may be necessary at some locations), provide one copy to the school showing PAE# https://www.pa.cogentid.com/index.htm

The PA-Core Standards guides the curriculum for the ECASD. Staff in reading and math converted the PA-Core Standards into “I Can Statements” which helps the students understand the the meaning of the standard and put into words the can understand.
