School Police Officer
The Ellwood City Area School District located in western Pennsylvania has the following anticipated
job opportunity - School Police Officer (ACT 120 Certified), ACT 235 Lethal Weapon Training
Certification. Training as required under 53 Pa.C.S. Ch. 21 Subch. D (relating to municipal police
officer education and training). Willing to participate in PA School Resource Officer Training.
Pre-employment and random drug testing required. Current Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 (FBI)
Clearances as required by the laws of Pennsylvania; and other clearances that may be required by
law or district. Minimum 2 years of PA police experience. Position would be for 180 school days.

The Ellwood City Area School District uses PA-Educator to post all full time teaching positions and long term substitute positions. 
Day-to-Day Substitute Position
Ellwood City Area School District has partnered with Kelly Educational Staffing (KES) to provide day-to-day substitute teachers.
Minimum Requirements:

PA state clearances, Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training, and TB test results

Teachers: $85.00/day

Active PA teaching certificates and inactive teaching certifications will be accepted. If you or someone you know holds a Bachelor’s degree, contact the local Kelly branch to learn more about emergency certification.
